Duties and Responsibilities:- Accurately performs final verification of a large volume of prescription orders.
- Leads a team of technicians to ensure metrics are met and all products are delivered to patients in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provides counseling to patients regarding their medications to support appropriate and effective medical therapies.
- Consults with prescribing practitioners to help ensure accurate and appropriate medication use.
- Reviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completeness.
- Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the State Board of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Food and Drug Administration.
- Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented approach.
- Maintains required licenses and certifications, must be in good standing with all regulatory agencies.
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to remain in a stationary position for a portion of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk for an 8–10-hour shift and reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- 2+ years related experience.
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
