Schedule: Monday - Friday, (No weekends or holidays)
Overview:
An established healthcare provider in El Paso, TX is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Staff Physician to join their team. This role is ideal for a physician experienced in Occupational Medicine and/or Urgent Care or one interested in transitioning to Occupational Medicine. Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical assessments for center patients and establish appropriate levels of care.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with employers on health and safety needs, conducting on-site assessments as needed.
- Communicate with client representatives regarding employee health status and care plans.
- Serve as a supportive leader for medical staff in the absence of the Medical Director.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and maintain clinical competency in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current unrestricted medical license in Texas DEA license required.
- Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong service orientation, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and PHI regulations.
- Patient-first approach and effective bedside manner.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and supportive within a multidisciplinary environment.
