Staff Platform/ Backend Engineer - LM3 Laser

& We’re looking for an experienced

Staff Back End/Platform Engineer

who is proficient in Python, Django, and AWS to build essential backend features, streamline DevOps processes, and enhance platform performance.

What You’ll Do:

Develop backend features and integrations using Python and Django (70-80% of your role)

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment

Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers

Enhance monitoring systems and conduct performance testing

Participate in rotational on-call support for platform stability

What We’re Looking For:

8+ years of experience

in software engineering, specifically in Python and Django

DevOps expertise

in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes

Start-up experience

(VC-backed, teams under 200)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Flexibility to contribute across backend engineering and platform/DevOps tasks (this is not a DevOps-only role)
