SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for the ongoing development, growth and quality standards of the ECMO Program. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and an understanding of the inter-dependent roles of the various allied health professions. Promote high standards of practice through development and ongoing review of ECMO policies, protocols and practice guidelines; participating in rigorous performance improvement monitoring; fellow, resident, and staff education and ECMO research.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or Masters degree in Nursing required.
- 3 years clinical experience in specialty area required.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
