Position: Staff Software Engineer

Salary Range: $23,800 - $240,000

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Ruby on Rails, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with front-end teams utilizing React and TypeScript, as well as other cross-functional teams to drive customer-focused solutions.
• Utilize your expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Docker to build robust, secure applications.
• Take ownership of development cycles, with an emphasis on fast iteration and immediate customer feedback.
• Engage in knowledge sharing and contribute to a supportive, innovative team environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, with knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Proficiency in Docker, with experience in high-growth, venture-backed startups.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React/TS preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excited to work on-site in San Francisco with an international, agile team.
