Staff Software Engineer - Time Products - Rippling

• Write great code and build great products.
• Ship fast – but with a high quality bar. As a staff engineer, you'll help define and enforce this bar for the team, as well find solutions that allow the team to move quickly with a high degree of safety. At Rippling, we believe that software is a powerful tool to free smart people to do hard things, and that applies to the tools and processes we use internally as well.
• Lead technical design discussions for new features, as well as providing feedback on other engineers' designs.
• Mentor junior members, lead and practice engineering excellence practice

• 7+ years of experience in backend product engineering using Python, Django, or related technologies
• Strong CS/algorithms fundamentals
• You have seen systems operating at a significant technical and organizational scale
• Strong product intuition: you care about design and user experience and are quick to identify how these could be improved.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in unstructured environments and enjoy identifying big problems in addition to solving them.
