We are seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer with experience in embedded and GUI software to support Navy sensor systems
This role involves designing, developing, and testing software solutions for sensor data acquisition, system control, and real-time data processing and post-processing.This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position based in our Tucson, AZ office.

We are seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer with experience in embedded and GUI software to support Navy sensor systems
This role involves designing, developing, and testing software solutions for sensor data acquisition, system control, and real-time data processing and post-processing.This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position based in our Tucson, AZ office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new features and bug fixes for Navy sensor systems.
- Perform testing using embedded processors, circuit boards, and related test equipment.
- Develop and present innovative software designs at customer meetings.
- Participate actively in scrum meetings and collaborate with a small software/hardware team.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage project components to meet tight deadlines.

- Minimum 5 years of software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
- C++ and embedded development experience
- Collaborative team experience (Scrum)
- Strong customer communication and presentation skills
- Linux systems-level knowledge and C++ programming
- VSCode cross-platform development experience
- Familiarity with serial communication: SPI, UART, I2C
- GPU programming (CUDA)
- C# code development with WinForms, WPF, Avalonia UI
- Active security clearance
