Staff Test Engineer - Alpha & Omega Semiconductor

Job Description:
As a Staff Test Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of new product test system development. He/she will be directly involved in providing ATE test systems, verifying new IC's performance and playing a major role in their characterization. You will work closely with Design, Applications and Product Engineers to release new PMIC products to market.

Qualifications:

• BSEE and/or MSEE
• 8+ years of experience developing ATE test solutions for analog, power or mixed-signal ICs and modules.
• A strong background in component-level circuit design and debug.
• Fundamental understanding of DFT and DFM.
• Expert knowledge in power products such as PMIC, DC/DC, Buck Converters, Battery Protection, LED drivers, motor drive, MOS and IGBT.
• Hands on test experience in mohm-level rdson, high voltage and high current testing.
• ATE experience, preferably with Teradyne ETS-300/88/364(Eagle), ASL-1000, ACCO.
• Expert in schematic capture. Knowledgeable of PCB layout.
• C++ programming mandatory.
• Intimate knowledge of ATE test program optimization including test-time-reduction, multi-site, spike-checking, pattern-based testing, Cpk analysis.
• Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
