Vaco Staffing is looking for a Medical Appointment Scheduler for a large healthcare company in Jacksonville.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for claimants and clients, managing the scheduling of medical and dental appointments and setting clear expectations.
- Efficiently coordinate appointments by simultaneously communicating with patients and healthcare providers.
- Facilitate the request, transmission, receipt, and follow-up of critical documentation via email and fax.
- Maintain thorough documentation and securely archive all correspondence and documents in the company's records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills, complemented by effective research abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal communication.
- Capacity to multitask, adhere to established procedures, and exhibit active listening skills.
- Bilingual proficiency is a valuable asset.
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and all essential MS Office applications.
Education and Experience:
- A background encompassing 6 months to 3 years of experience in the medical or dental field.
- Experience in a contact center is advantageous.
- High School Diploma or GED qualification.
