4am-4:30pm, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

The Staffing Coordinator coordinates the scheduling of nursing personnel assigned to inpatient nursing units throughout the hospital, maintaining the critical link between clients and healthcare professionals through arranging proper schedules. This role collaborates and coordinates with nursing units to help ensure appropriate patient care coverage within clinical operations.
The staffing coordinator will ensure that all patients are accurately staffed and that schedules are effectively communicated. Accountabilities: -Maintaining all necessary files and records relating to the PRN Pool and outside nurse staffing agencies. -Participating in submitting agency invoices for payment. -Creating staff schedules to covera ll shifts necessary. -Updating KRONOS and issuing standard reports per established timelines so as to ensure proper payment for employees. -Serving as backup for nursing payroll for all inpatient programs. -Upholding federal, state, and local standards in scheduling. -Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Unit Managers and Charge Nurses. -Effectively communicating with patients to ensure patient satisfaction.
