Job Summary
Cherrelyn Healthcare Center is looking for a Nursing Scheduler to join its team at its Littleton, Colorado facility. This position requires scheduling and coordinating all nursing staffing in accordance with community and state/federal requirements, utilizing and maximizing the benefits of OnShift. This is a full-time role that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. As the Nursing Scheduler, you will demonstrate active listening techniques, gain support through effective relationships, treat others with dignity and respect and seek feedback.
Compensation & Benefits
This position provides competitive compensation of $22.00 to $29.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. The position also provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, prescription, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), paid time off and more.

Cherrelyn Healthcare Center is a 176-bed skilled nursing facility located in Littleton, CO. We have been operating for over 50 years and are looking for an individual to continue the tradition of the best in care for our residents.
Responsibilities
•Coordinate/manage nursing staff work schedules in accordance with our established policies and procedures and to meet the minimum staffing ratios required by law.
•Adjusts staff to meet the daily needs of the census, budget, and level of acuity.
•Assigns staff to units depending on knowledge, experience, and ability.
•Reviews payroll punches to look for tardiness, inconsistencies, and errors. Reports trends and need for follow-up to appropriate management staff.
•Prepares and provides staffing reports to State or Federal agencies as requested.
•Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the community.
•Utilize OnShift for scheduling & communicating with nursing staff.
Requirements
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED); previous experience in the healthcare field, experience with nursing scheduling required.
•Experience with OnShift preferred (Training is available)
•Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
•Knowledge of and demonstrated skills in general office procedures.
•Strong organizational and analytical skills, oral and written communication skills.
