Job Description
Interview Process:
First round - 30 minute phone screening
Second round - 1 hour video interview
Possibility of extension based on demand.
Scope of Position:
Leads technical teams in support of various projects for Advanced Optics (AO) division
Leads technical teams and works with internal stakeholders to execute programs
Defines and executes overall project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and people resource needs, to enable programs to scale appropriately in each stage to meet technical, schedule, and cost targets
Drives progress from project initiation through delivery, ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints
Constantly monitors for changes in project requirements, scope, or assumptions
Sets key project messages and manages the flow of information related to project direction, issues, needs, and progress with key project stakeholders
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Utilizes Corning's Tollgate process to direct program activities
Oversees product testing and evaluation to ensure that project requirements are met
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's in a technical field required**
3-5 years of hands-on project management experience
Fully on-site presence required; i.e., not a remote or hybrid position
First shift, M-F 8am-5pm. Possible OT but not guaranteed
0% to 10% travel

Able to define and prioritize key project milestones
