Staffing Success Specialist _Japanese-bilingual in Pasona N A Torrance office
Job Description:
- Performs timely and error-free payroll processing for Pasona temporary staff as a team (payroll system: Rippling)
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- Issue invoices and mail/email to the clients
- Send inquiry/new job information to Worker's Compensation Insurance companies
- Perform new hire orientation
- Answer/create employment verification inquires for temporary staff
- Check latest laws and update policies accordingly
- Answer various inquiries from temporary staff, clients, recruiters, and business development reps
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Complies with company policies, rules, and procedures
- Performs administrative duties
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties
- Performs background checks in a timely manner
- Communicate with candidates, vendor, recruiter, and business development reps timely to advance background checks
- Understands and complies with various laws/regulations related to employment, background checks, etc.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, write and communicate professionally in Japanese and English
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
- +1 year of admin, payroll and/or customer service/ support is preferred but not required.
- Multitasking, customer service minded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use the applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and related software (e.g. Salesforce, Rippling, etc.)
* Salary: $20-25/hour (Base salary + Profit sharing)
* Work Hour: Mon-Fri 9:00-6:00 (1 hour lunch break)
* Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid Work)
