If you are someone who is looking for flexibility in your schedule this position is for you! Portland’5 is seeking Stagedoor Attendants to provide general event support by monitoring entry and exit at the stage doors while providing information and direction to our patrons, artists, and crews for evening, graveyard, and weekend performances.
Work shifts are mostly nights and weekends and can end in the early morning (graveyard) and can start as early as 4:00 am. This position requires flexibility and willingness to work graveyard shifts when needed.

- Monitor stage doors; grant access to facility by authorized persons; open and unlock facility, and close and secure facility.
- Inquire about suspicious persons or activities; restrict and prevent access of unauthorized persons.
- Answer phones and communicate with staff by radio; inform house manager and other staff members of needed supplies or services; informs supervisors, house managers or leads of any problems as they arise.
- Issue, log and track keys and passes to facility.
- Monitor and operate surveillance and communication equipment, including a closed circuit television system, computerized door access system, fire and emergency alarm system, and a multi-channel radio base station.
- During emergency, communicates with 911 personnel.
- Fill out paperwork including lost and found log, shipping and receiving log, and parking permits.
- May provide leadership and guidance to volunteer staff and assist with orientation of new members of the work group.

- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in customer service, reception or security work; OR
- Any combination of education, professional, volunteer and lived experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the classification duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to work the evening shift, graveyard shift, weekends and holidays.

- Experience performing similar work in a large, event driven venue; theater, stadium or event center
- Providing in-person customer service to a diverse audience of customers, patrons and artists
