Stamping Operator at ADECCO

Stamping Department Press Operator
Time: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm 30 minute lunch
Essential responsibilities:

• Support all activities in Stamp Department:

• Tool storage
• Press and Die set up
• Operate presses
• Tool and equipment maintenance
• Personally responsible for high quality output
• Cross train to other departments
• Aptitude to learn entire department to back up current lead person and take over that roll in the future.

This is a High Variety Low Volume environment. Applicants must be able to adapt to a dynamic work environment where demands and skills are continually changing.

Reports to: Production Manager and department lead

Job Requirements:

• Speak, read and write English fluently
• Some familiarity with operating manufacturing machinery
• Able to develop effective working relationships with others
• Ability to learn and judge acceptable quality parameters quickly
• Rudimentary computer literacy. Able to work within our manufacturing software program
• Ability to identify and solve problems
• Ability to learn from and take ownership of mistakes
• Educational requirements:
• Minimum of High School or GED
• Past experience in Jewelry Industry a plus
• Paste experience and knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts a plus.
• Past experience operating hydraulic and pneumatic presses a plus.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
