Job Description
A Stand Manager will have a strong work ethic and be committed to ensuring that our coffee stand runs efficiently and provides excellent customer service. The Stand Manager will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, managing the staff, and maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.
Essential Functions
- Handle cash and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the coffee stand
- Report daily sales to appointed personnel
- Schedule staff and ensure shifts are covered to maintain a high level of customer service
- Ensure all timecards are recorded accurately and breaks are given to employees
- Order supplies as needed and ensure orders are completed before vendor cut off times
- Maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly sales, including vendor invoices
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the stand to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for customers and staff
- Maintain social media profiles inclusive of hours and reviews of Facebook
- Ensure accurate store hours and information are reflected on public profiles and report any changes to the General Manager
- Engage in the hiring process, review the employee handbook, set performance expectations, and introduce policies and procedures to new hires
- Communicate with District Manager regarding hiring, interviewing, and additional questions out of scope of job
- Train employees on new policies and procedures and on drink preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
- Resolve challenges faced by customers and deliver excellent customer service
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Build and maintain friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
Requirements

- Basic computer skills to perform the job and an aptitude for leveraging technology
- Strong organizational skills to create efficient systems for completing tasks and maintaining inventory
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- Two years of industry experience
The Stand Manager position may require availability in the evenings and on weekends. Some administrative tasks and phone calls with vendors or customers may be necessary. Stand Managers may also spend time on their feet, interacting with employees and clients. Some travel may be required for upper management meetings or manager training.
It is important to note that while the essential functions and requirements listed in the job description are the primary responsibilities of the Stand Manager position, there may be additional tasks that arise from time to time that are necessary for the effective management of the coffee stand. These tasks may include but are not limited to, coordinating with vendors for special events, handling unexpected equipment malfunctions or repairs, managing inventory during high-volume periods, and other tasks as assigned by upper management. The Stand Manager should be prepared to adapt to changing circumstances and take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the coffee stand.

The total compensation for this position includes an hourly rate as well as tips received from customers.
