Job Summary



As a Starbucks Manager, you will lead a new and high-reaching business in Cambridge, MA, working with FLIK Hospitality- a member of Compass Group USA to provide outstanding food service operations. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to compete in a dynamic market, ensuring flawless guest and associate happiness while driving profitability.


Crucial Duties and Responsibilities:



+ Coordinate Starbucks food service operations to ensure world-class quality for clients, customers, and associates.


+ Lead purchasing and inventory strictly to maintain efficient stock levels and minimize waste.


+ Implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to foster business growth.


+ Efficiently implement multi-tasking strategies in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


+ Foster and maintain excellent relationships with associates, guests, clients, and other departments.


+ Promote guest delight by delivering effective service and ensuring a clean, enjoyable environment.


+ Foster a sense of organization and structure among employees through effective leadership.


+ Manage financial performance, focusing on payroll, cash receipts, efficiency, food costs, and operating expenses.


+ Ensure compliance with cash management policies, identifying cash shortages and overages.


+ Build crew schedules using labor models and customer volume patterns.


+ Perform all ordering, accounting, and maintaining product and supply inventories.


+ Take initiative to act immediately on violations of safety, sanitation, and security policies.



Qualifications:



+ 2 years of experience running a cafe, preferably in a Starbucks location.


+ Extensive knowledge of food and drinks.


+ Strong financial experience and business insight skills.


+ ServSafe Certification is helpful.


+ Proficient digital literacy and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.


+ An Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is helpful.
