As a State and Local Tax Unclaimed Property Manager, you will be responsible for conducting and assisting in the oversight of services such as state unclaimed property research, annual compliance reporting, audit defense, voluntary disclosures, risk assessments, and policy improvements. This is a highly consultative role, where ensuring client satisfaction is key. As a subject matter expert, you will work directly with clients and lead unclaimed property engagement teams. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a growing team and embrace new challenges.

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Economics, Masters in Taxation or LL.M. is a plus;
• CPA, JD, or similar degree required;
• Minimum of three years experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend;
• Minimum of three years of unclaimed property consulting related experience;
• History of successful project completion and ability to clearly communicate key issues and roles with team members;
• MS Excel based computations and models including statistical sampling related to areas noted above;
• Demonstrated proficiency in written documentation of unclaimed property issues and analysis (e.g., history of successful involvement with drafting of technical memoranda, Voluntary Disclosure Program Reports, etc.);
• Leadership, organizational, and project management skills;
• Communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator;
• Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment; and
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
