We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our Norwood Towers Post Acute team. Position Overview: As a STNA at Norwood Towers Post Acute, you will be responsible for delivering routine daily nursing care and services to our residents. Your role will involve assisting with personal care, monitoring residents' conditions, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with nursing staff to maintain a positive and supportive environment for both residents and team members.
We have multiple DAY shift positions available with a pay range of $17-$20 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine daily nursing care as outlined in residents' care plans.
- Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards before administering treatments or serving meals.
- Report changes in residents' conditions and any observed incidents to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
- Maintain accurate records and document all care activities.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Ensure residents' rooms are prepared and make them comfortable upon admission.
- Monitor residents' health by measuring vital signs, recording food/fluid intake, and ensuring hydration.
- Assist with lifting, positioning, and transporting residents as needed.
- Report any safety hazards or defective equipment immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving resident care.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (10th grade education minimum).
- Valid CNA or STNA license in accordance with state laws.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and perform other physical tasks as required.
