About the Job
Steel fabrication company is seeking an in-house AutoCAD draftsperson with the ability to work from Structural & Mechanical drawings and specifications to develop; project submittal drawings, plan views, and detailed shop/fabrication drawings, with a bill of materials.

- Must be able to create accurate drawings, set-up drawing files, create bill of materials and hardware lists for industrial & commercial projects, structural steel, misc., steel (stairs, handrails, guardrails, ladders, mezzanines, platforms), and renovation projects.
- Must have 1.5 years working industrial experience in AutoCAD 2D drafting, (3D a plus), sound technical background, strong math and communication skills, Excel & Word computer knowledge, and the ability to work independently to complete drawings on a timely basis, with minimal supervision.
