We are seeking an experienced Sterilization Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will possess the technical and organizational skills to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff. The successful candidate will be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the team. Travel is required between our two offices in Auburn and Antelope.
Schedule & Locations
- This is a full-time position Monday through Friday - No Saturdays
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Tuesday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification in dental sterilization techniques (preferred).
- Knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization processes.
- Previous experience as a sterile technician or in a dental office setting (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow established protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilizing medical equipment and instruments
- Inspect equipment for cleanliness and functionality before and after sterilization
- Operate sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves, in accordance with manufacturer instructions
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance
- Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and order replacements as needed
- Assist with the organization and stocking of supply areas
- Collaborate with orthodontic team to ensure timely and efficient sterilization of equipment
