Responsibilities:Under the direction of Restaurant Management, the incumbent ensures all areas pertaining to department are clean and organized.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for cleanliness of the food preparation area
- Busing tables, cleaning dishes, cleaning all restaurant and bar equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of floors throughout kitchen area
- Ensuring that inventory of stewarding items are organized in accordance with Food and Beverage Department regulations and procedures
- Maintain positive staff/management relations
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure
- Keep work areas clean and orderly
- Assisting other restaurant positions with their responsibilities as needed
- Team members are required to push, pull, stock and unload carts and liquor cabinets
- High School Diploma/GED or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures and to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to general public.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
