Linux Systems Administrator for its Sunnyvale, CA location to join our team for (E2) sustainment of a signal distribution system
The operational system utilizes a variety of systems, including bare-metal servers, VMs, On-prem Kubernetes hosting services, and cloud-hosted services
Along with sustainment, we continue the active development of new capabilities and recaps of existing systems and are looking for candidates who can support the design and development of our future systems.• Supports Software development teams by building and maintaining development environments and workstations• Support troubleshooting of both development and operational systems to fault-isolate issues and collaborate with software and network team to develop solutions• Responsible for all server hardware and operating systems across both physical and virtual systems including the cloud
Maintains operational systems including patching, security hardening, PKI infrastructure, and build/deployment of new servers for upgrades and recaps.Successful candidates must have an active TS security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly.Learn more about Lockheed Martin’s comprehensive benefits package.This position is in one of the Coolest places to work: Sunnyvale, CA Basic Qualifications:• Experience with troubleshooting and researching server failures and anomalies• Current CompTIA Security+ or (ISC)2 CISSP• Current experience with Linux (any distribution, Red Hat preferred)• Experience with at least one of Free IPA, LDAP, or Active Directory• Experience with Ansible
