Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs physical labor to place retail stock and supplies in their proper place to create a great customer experience environment. Duties include: unloading truck, checking merchandise to purchase order/invoice, stocking merchandise, putting merchandise away from customer use.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Unload store merchandise from truck
- Check in merchandise from truck or other means per receiving policy
- Ensure that merchandise shipments have been received and displayed within twenty-four hours of delivery.
- Label or apply merchandise sales tags if necessary to merchandise.
- Utilize an efficient pattern and method for putting product away to optimize time
- Use proper methods for unloading and moving product to designated location
- Identify and escalate any bottlenecks impeding put away or product storage capacity
- Ensure all product locations are front, faced and replenished with available overstock
- Alerts management to potential security or loss prevention issues
- Work with fellow associates to maintain that Asset Protection standards are met all the time
- Remove any hazards or obstacles that may impede walking the aisles or sales floor
- Keep receiving dock, aisles and sales floor neat, clean and organized
- Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends and some holidays.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- Ability to anticipate customer's needs.
- Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn the stores point-of-sale system.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous boating and/or retail experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to shoulder height unassisted.
