Must Haves:
- Level 3 / Level 4 skilled Storage Engineer to lead the Storage space under the Data Center Operations tower
- Design and implement a new solution in the Storage environment
- 5 to 8 years of Storage experience in NetApp, Pure Storage and SAN Switches
- Candidate should have a strong knowledge on Storage Architecture who can provide best solutions to the customer.
- Hands-on experience on Storage migration, upgrades, and replications etc.,
- Ability to suggest and implement Automation, Industry best practices and standards.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue identification
- Strong skills in NetApp, Pure, SAN, NAS, and Brocade switches
- Hands-on experience in Storage zoning and SAN port provisioning
- Troubleshooting experience with Storage, SAN, NAS Connectivity, and performance issues
- Administration experience in the storage of multiprotocol environments like CIFS and NFS with NetApp
- Experience with disaster recovery and data replication technologies
- Planning and performing maintenance activities, upgrades, migration, etc. Could Haves:
- Basic VMware vSphere 5.0 and higher skills
- Basic Networking skills Nice to Have:
- NetApp / Pure Certifications
- Knowledge of Linux Operating systems
- PowerShell, Ansible, or Python Scripting Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for storage technologies
- Work with vendors to resolve storage issues
- Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
- Communicate with customers and internal team with transparency
- Work across technical teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Provide enterprise-level operational support for incident, problem, and change management activities
- Assess customer environments for performance and design issues and propose resolutions Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and Runbooks
- Completion of training and certification as assigned to further skills and knowledge On-call and Offshore Support:
- Participate in on-call rotation and co-ordinate with Offshore support.
