Store Clerk - Speedys LLC

SUMMARY:

Speedy's Gas & Convenience Store Clerk is responsible for supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the daily retail operations of the storefront. The Store Clerk is expected to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining an organized and clean storefront.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the store is always at peak operating level in regards to cleanliness, organization, and product availability
• Greet, interact, and assist all customers
• Ensure storefront is clean, organized, and welcoming to all patrons
• Restock storefront, including coolers and gas tills, as needed; display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
• Operate register and ring out customers in accordance with Speedy's guidelines and POS functionality
• Assist in food preparation
• Communicate information about product availability and price to customers
• Observe competitor retail outlets (i.e. gas prices) within the market area; report any significant changes to Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
• Must adhere to all city, county, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol, tobacco, and lottery product

Position Requirements:

• Must be able to work any day of the week
• Must be able to follow directions and performed work duties as assigned
• Must be able to work entire assigned shift on feed; bending, stooping, and moving are requirements of the position
• Must adhere to company dress code and personal appearance guidelines
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Understands exposure to gas fumes and cleaning products is a condition of the position
