Position Summary
As a Store Manager in Training you will learn supervisory and technical skills that are in alignment with the company's mission, its retailing philosophies, and its operational strategies. This hands-on-role in store operations provides insight into the retail convenience store/gasoline business, for your successful transition into a Store Manager role.
Key Accountabilities
- Creating exceptional customer experiences
- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in the operational procedures including daily paperwork, cash/banking transactions, daily inventories of lottery, and appropriate company reports
- Understand and practice strong inventory control methods
- Actively participate in all employee-related management functions including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, motivation, discipline, performance appraisal, conflict resolution, and the administration of human resources policies and initiatives.
- Understand and perform P&L analysis
- Assume responsibility for the store in the store manager's absence.

Additional requirements include:
- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results
- Previous management proficiency in related retail environment
- Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture
