Azamara is looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager- North Central U.S, to represent our boutique brand known for destination immersion and hand-crafted ways to see the world. This person will be responsible for profitable revenue generation from the assigned retail travel agency and top accounts with Azamara Cruises.

- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at current individual accounts within territory and advisors.
- Create and execute local marketing, contract negotiations and promotional programs with assigned accounts within territory.
- Meet or exceed corporate growth goals, including Quarterly and Annual Sailed Revenue, as well as Quarterly Booked Guests.
- Make sales presentations to small/large audiences to promote entire brand, specific ships, and destinations.
- Work with accounts to create and increase group business.
- Partner with AVP of Sales to analyze and develop opportunities within territory in addition to special projects.
- Develop territory account plans, contract negotiations and marketing/promotional strategies for assigned account base
- Responsible for complete knowledge of all Azamara Cruises products, services, and brand representation and policies.
- Analyze sales data to present monthly and quarterly business reviews with select accounts across territory.
- Work with HQ roll-up accounts to analyze and develop opportunities and communicate a strategic plan to execute to the North America sale team in coordination with the AVP of Sales.
- Gather and communicate reporting on customer business profile (ROI, cost of sale, yield, retention, automation).
- Develop brand ambassadors’ customers are kept up to date with the latest information on itineraries, pricing, and product enhancements
- Identity your top 50 partners and how to work the territory with the turn on accounts.
- Review existing contracts and identify opportunities for growth and incentive
- Territory Management - Use the company’s CRM To manage territory activities as well as record and report sales progress with the agencies
WHAT WE LOOK FOR: (Requirements)
- Chicago area-based person preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven outside sales experience required; Travel industry preferred.
- Must be able to travel up to 40%.
