Axalta Refinish is seeking an experienced and high-energy marketing professional to lead and execute the Premium/Mainstream Customer Segment efforts in North America. The Refinish Business has a solid growth track record, and this position will be responsible to enable future growth through effective market assessment and segmentation to develop and execute growth strategies, value propositions and offerings for the Economy OR Premium/Mainstream Customer Segment in North America. The position will report to the Global Premium Segment Sr. Manager with a dotted line to the Global Premium Product Sr. Manager.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of Premium/Mainstream Segment Plan.
- Support the Refinish North America short, mid, and long-term Premium/Mainstream customer strategy in the different Sales channels.
- Implement Value Proposition for the segments, in close alignment with the Premium/Mainstream Segment Product Strategy team (APL) and the Digital team (ASL).
- Drive implementation of marketing initiatives into the North America sales organization.
- Facilitate the development of Premium/Mainstream Customer offers.
- Support sales growth.
- Develop sales training materials and support training of sales staff in collaboration with other Marketing divisions and regions.
- In strong collaboration with MarCom and Pricing team, drive North America brand and relative price positioning strategies for the Premium/Mainstream customer segment.
- In strong collaboration with the Product Strategy team, drive the implementation of the Premium/Mainstream customer segment Approved Product List for North America to combine targeted customer needs fulfillment with a lean product and services portfolio.
- Monitor North America insights and understanding of distributors, customer, and consumer needs.
- Stay connected and interact with North America sales teams to jointly drive growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business economics or related discipline and/or at least 3-5 years of Automotive Refinish industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing or similar, ideally of high-value specialty materials, with a strong track record of driving growth through effective use of segmentation/insights to develop industry leading value proposition/offerings.
- Passion for, and ideally experience with, sales and marketing of materials where sustainability is a key component of the value proposition.
- Excellent understanding of automotive after-market space and end user's needs.
- Strong business acumen, market intelligence, sales, and analytic skills to drive growth.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders to align and deliver common objectives.
- Under normal (non-pandemic) conditions, approx. 20% travel required.
