Discover more at and follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram, and X.About the Team:Professional Service Sales for the Partners business To work with their Global Client Executive/Client Executive counterparts to deliver sales presentations related to Professional Services to both new sales prospects and existing clients where applicable.You will report into the Director of Professional Services Sales.Responsibilities:Find new professional services business opportunities in existing customer accountsCommunicate directly with the VP's of Professional Services and their direct reports regularly about their account activitiesWork with the Global Client Executive / Client Executive and VP's of Implementation Services to help manage the overall relationship and expectations with a sponsoring client or CRO from a professional services perspective for all services and deliverables across all Medidata functionsPresent to all accounts new and existing where applicable all professional services offerings, methodologies and support structures to help bring on new clients and expanding business in existing clientsAdvise of any potential customer issues and new business opportunitiesGrow Medidata's reach, through relationship building, within the client via high customer satisfactionActively team with sales organization and professional services department to ensure customer satisfactionMaintain referenceable clientsQualifications:Experience preferably in clinical or biomedical or software development environmentElectronic Clinical Data Management (eCDM) software consulting experience desirablePrior professional services project financial experience requiredPrior services delivery experience required5+ years of experience establishing communication and engagement with prospectsExcellence with MS Project, project development and managementTravel expectations up to 50 – 60 %, nationalValid driver's license & passport requiredThe salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City
As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location
Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region
The base salary pay range for this position is $139,000-$186,000.Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work
Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses
