Strategy Associate - Zachary Piper LLC

Piper Companies is seeking a Strategy Associate for a growing firm in the local Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. The Strategy Associate role is a hybrid position and will require 3 onsite days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). A successful candidate for the Strategy Associate will have experience working through complex deals.

Responsibilities for the Strategy Associate include:

·       Research new industries, conduct competitive analysis of similar companies and provide recommendations of new investment opportunities

·       Present to internal and external stakeholders as it relates to new investment opportunities

·       Prepare and develop financial models

·       Own and execute initiatives across the organization

Requirements for the Strategy Associate include:

·       2-6 years of professional experience in strategy within finance, investment banking, or private equity

·       Strong background in the due diligence process to evaluate new investment opportunities

·       Experience leading a large initiative from start to finish

·       Experience conducting financial modeling

·       Bachelor’s Degree is REQUIRED, Master’s Degree is preferred

Compensation of the Strategy Associate: $135,000 - $160,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package
