We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a **Structural Bridge Engineer** to be based in Piscataway, NJ. Our Structural Engineers are involved in planning, preparation and design for New Jersey transportation bridge projects. This is a wonderful opportunity to work on a variety of exciting design/build projects that are highly visible adding value to your career development. These could be small, medium and large projects, including long-span bridges. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team + Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise + Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others + Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables + Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects + Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package + Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings + Prepares technical specification sections + Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements **Qualifications** **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus four years of relevant experience in transportation structures or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** + Ability to hold a PE license in both NY and NJ within 12 months of hire + Experience working with highway bridge design projects is preferred; rail bridges project a plus + Experience working in New Jersey transportation agencies + Proficiency with CAD and similar computer software **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is available now + Relocation Assistance is not available for this role Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
