Savard is hiring a Structural CAD Designer for work in Beaumont, TX for Job # 17635

Job Scope/Duties:
An AutoCAD designer is a professional who uses AutoCAD software to create, edit, and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings and designs. The drawings and designs created by AutoCAD designers are used in a variety of industries, such as architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and product design.
- Residential/Commercial/Industrial/Marine HVAC Industry
- Preparing preliminary design, checking of designs and drawings
- Have working knowledge of AISC Code
- Worked within a Team environment

Work experience required:
10 years of CAD designer exp.
**Must be knowledgeable in drafting electrical diagrams.**
-Structural Design Experience Required
- Knowledge in the design of Base Plate and Support Structures
- AutoCAD 3D Proficient
- Must have MS Office exp

- Have good verbal and writing communication skills
- Be able to work within, provide support and contribute as a Design TEAM Member
- Be able to clearly provide verbal support of Structural design and individual skill set(s)
- Be willing to support other discipline designs when needed
- College Degree Preferred but not required for this designer position

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass 10-panel drug screen
- Must be able to submit to background screen
- Must pass an alcohol screen
- Must be have clean Driving Record
-Valid Driver license.
-Physical, audiogram back and chest x ray
-EE generated Resume

Shifts/Hours:
7 am- 4 pm Mon - Thurs and 7: 00 am - 3: 30 on Friday
42 hours max


Pay:
Up to $70, 000 per year salary
