Experience in drafting and detailing structural plate and mild steel is highly desirable. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, while experience with Tekla is preferred.

- Detail building components and create fabrication drawings based on engineering designs and project notes.
- Produce erection drawings, approval drawings, permit drawings, and anchor rod drawings.
- Enhance product and procedural knowledge, continually improving technical skills.
- Upload and edit parts in the manufacturing system, ensuring seamless release to production.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify challenges and develop cost-effective solutions.
- Meet customer service needs by adhering to project schedules.
- Contribute to departmental objectives, profitability goals, and continuous improvement within a high-performance team.
Required Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Associate degree, 2-year technical degree, or equivalent experience.
- Alternatively, completion of the BlueScope Buildings Drafting Program.
- Proficiency in Algebra and Trigonometry.
- Competence with PC applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and the ability to build effective peer relationships.
- A focus on customer satisfaction, integrity, technical learning, and continuous self-development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- Experience with Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) or conventional steel.
- CAD training.
