| You will be trusted to: - This role provides engineering oversight on projects that are outsourced to engineering consulting firms. You will coordinate and review the work of engineering partners.
- Interprets engineering drawings and applies project management practices.
- Identifies, investigates, and analyzes problems in coordination with the engineering partner. Develops appropriate solutions. Drafts reports. Collaborates with project consultant and specialist.
- Coordinates project reviews and implementation plans between individuals and sections. Ensures timely communication occur.
- Communicates necessary changes to the responsible engineer for correction.
- Prepares and revises operating procedures and project outlines in connection with engineering assignments. Follows appropriate business procedures.
- Recommends new and improved practices and procedures related to assigned area. Develops and conducts presentations to management and others. |
| You qualify with: - Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
- Driver's license You are a great fit with: - Structural Engineer qualifies with an extensive background in analysis and design of structural steel and shallow and deep foundations.
- Professional Engineer Licensed in the State of Texas.
- Five to eight years of engineering experience.
- Have knowledge of RISA 3D, MFAD, L-PILE
- Have knowledge of AISC and ASCE guides
These are the qualities for a best fit candidate:
- A background in the following areas will further strengthen the qualifications for this position -
- Structural design background one or more of the following: High rise structures, warehouses, buildings, bridges etc
- Reviewing structural design drawings
- Comfortable with multi-tasking across a range of deliverables, asking questions, independently tracking down answers, and are highly organized, resourceful, creative, and collaborative.
