The successful candidates will join a growing team of transportation professionals and contribute to the design component of roadway and bridge projects throughout North America. **Your Key Responsibilities** + The majority of work will include bridge projects for WSDOT and municipalities in WA. + Key duties include preparation of plans, specifications, structural analysis, design calculations, and load ratings for DOT and Municipal clients. + Tasks include but not be limited to performing bridge / structural analysis, design and geometry calculations, developing drawings, and assisting condition inspections and reports. + Position also entails preparing engineering reports and technical studies, and assisting on other projects, as needed, including construction phase design services support and field work. **Qualifications** **Credentials and Capabilities** + Experience with WSDOT projects preferred. + Proficient with CsiBridge, WSDOT PGSuper, WSDOT BRIDG, L-pile, MicroStation, AutoCAD and bridge engineering applications. + Familiar with AASHTO LRFD, WSDOT BDM, AASHTO Seismic Guide Specs and other structural design standards. + Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skill. + PE license with the ability to obtain a WA PE; WA SE license preferred. **Education and Experience** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering + Minimum of 4 years of bridge engineering and structural design experience Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. _This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice._ Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each others' talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us. Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s): **Salary Range(s):** * $85,200 - $123,500 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WA The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
