Selectek has an immediate need to hire an Structural Engineer for a full-time, temp-to-perm position in Chicago, IL.
Job Details
Candidates primary responsibility will be working alongside senior structural engineers to design and develop heavy industrial projects. This client deals primarily in concrete and steel structures, so knowledge of building modifications and corresponding codes will be key to success in this role.
Required
Bachelors in Structural Engineering (BSEE)
PE or EIT preferred
2+ years of experience of industrial or commercial structural design
Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD
Knowledge of industrial building modifications and upgrades
Experience with plant equipment support systems
Compensation
$29 - $41 per hour based on experience before permanent conversion
Schedule
Monday-Friday / 8:00am-5:00pm. Hybrid schedule is available to candidates after orientation and onboarding period!
