Are you a detail-oriented structural engineer with a passion for seeing projects through to completion?

Our client, a growing A&E firm in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their team. This is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the design and execution of a variety of building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide structural engineering expertise for assigned projects, including retail stores, shopping centers, restaurants, and more.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project success.
• Prepare structural drawings using industry-standard software like Revit or AutoCAD.
• Review project budgets and schedules, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Assist with construction management activities, reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
• Stay up-to-date on building codes, standards, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in structural design for commercial, retail, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
