Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems according to project specifications and local codes.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports on structural design.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineers to finalize project plans.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations using advanced engineering software tools.
- Evaluate construction materials and recommend appropriate solutions for each project.
- Assist in the management of project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred or in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Proven experience as a Structural Engineer on various types of projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD or similar design tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
