Our client, a Structural Consulting Engineering firm, is seeking a Structural Engineer with a precast concrete design and construction background. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role on their engineering team, providing innovative solutions and ensuring the structural integrity of various projects. This position requires an understanding of precast concrete systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

* This position can be based in St. Paul, MN or Eau Clarie, WI

Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structural designs and perform engineering analysis for precast concrete buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Coordination with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs with other building systems.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of precast concrete installations.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and precast concrete engineering and construction best practices.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges during the design and construction phases.

Structural Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural design, preferably with precast concrete building structures. 
• EIT or PE
• Proficiency in structural analysis software; Revit knowledge is preferred
• Solid understanding of precast concrete design principles, construction methods, and relevant building codes and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and coordinate with various project stakeholders.
