•Participate as an ENGINEER INTRAINING in avarietyoflarge and smallwhole building and building component projects that range across most market sectors, building occupancies, and material types throughout the U.S.

•AssistMBJstructuralengineeringdesignandmodelingteamsinanexciting,supportive,andfast-paced environmentfromprojectconceptionthroughdesignandconstruction,includingsiteinspections

•Work withoutsidedesignteammembersincludingarchitects,contractors,andowners,tocoordinateandexpedite effectivedeliveryofintegratedprojectdelivery(IPD),design/build(D/B),andtraditionalbidprojects

•Routinely meet complex, and often unique, engineering challenges with effective solutions delivered professionally, reliably, and with a strong commitment to client success

•Perform engineering design calculations by hand and using structural 2D and 3D structural analysis software

RequiredQualifications

•Academics:B.S.or M.S.degreeinStructuralor CivilEngineering withafocusinstructuralengineeringdesign with steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and lateral load resisting systems

•License:EIT–Abilitytobeprofessionallylicensedasaprofessionaland/orstructuralengineerin4yearsorless

•Experience:1-4years

DesiredQualifications

•Fluent inMSOfficesuiteand familiarwithanalyticalsoftwarepackagessuchasRAM,RISA,EnercalcandMathcad

•Familiarwithcurrentdesignandmaterialcodes(IBC,ACI,AISC,NDS,etc.)

•Familiar withstructuralsystemsandtheir detailingfor typicalstructuralmaterialsincludingsoils,concrete,steel, masonry, and wood

•Abilitytoworkonconstructionsitesandworkoff-hourswhenrequired

•BecomelicensedasanS.E.inthefuture
