Our client is an established Structural Steel Fabricator and Erector with a leading reputation throughout Northern Ohio. This partnership brings forth an amazing opportunity for candidates who are seeking to advance their career in the field of structural engineering.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage the design and engineering of structural steel or construction projects. - Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural requirements and evaluate project feasibility. - Develop and prepare detailed structural engineering designs, calculations, and specifications. - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure structural designs align with project goals and requirements. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process.
Position Essential Job Functions:
- Perform structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software. - Create detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD or similar software. - Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and best practices. - Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with structural design requirements. - Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve design issues and address any discrepancies.
Position Skills: - Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in managing the design and engineering of structural steel or construction projects. - Proficiency in structural analysis and design software. - Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as AISC, ACI, and ASCE. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
