Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a **Structural Engineer I** to be based in the **Chelmsford, Massachusetts** office. _This position is expected to begin immediately._ **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Work under the supervision and direct responsible charge of senior-level Structural Engineers. + Perform engineering-related structural design using both hand and computer calculations. + Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, sections, and details. + Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices. + Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Relevant job experience, work, internship, or co-op is a plus. + EIT/FE Certification or ability to obtain before the start date. + Experience or education in reinforced concrete design. + Experience with Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, etc. + Ability to work with a diverse team located in the Massachusetts Design Center. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + A highly motivated self-starter. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work. + Ability to multi-task and be flexible, along with the ability to adapt to project deadlines. + Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment. **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is available for this position. + This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in **Chelmsford, MA** . The selected candidate must be available to work in **Chelmsford, MA** on a scheduled basis. \#LI-SG1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
