Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Our client is currently seeking a Structural Engineer.  

Summary:

• We have an opportunity with a leading design firm for a Structural Engineer that will be responsible for all phases of project work from inception through construction.
• Typical projects include Hospitality, Educational and other commercial projects.  Ideally candidates will have a background with mid- or high-rise buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural calculations for client review and permitting.
• Coordinate with other engineers and architects.
• Develop structural designs and details from initial concept to final Construction Documents.
• Construction administration duties including review of shop drawings, responding to RFI’s and construction sit observations.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Civil Engineering with Structural focus
• 5+ years’ experience engineering and designing hospitality, educational, and commercial structures
• Knowledge of Steel, concrete and masonry design codes; basic wood design knowledge
• Experienced in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete buildings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Preferred:

• Master’s degree
• Experience in the design of post tensioned concrete structures and other multistory building types
• RAM Structural System software experience
• Hospitality project experience
• EIT or PE License
• Revit experience

Pay Rate:

• $32 –  $40/hr, dependent on experience
