Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural calculations for client review and permitting.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Develop structural designs and details from initial concept to final Construction Documents.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and construction standards.
• Handle construction administration duties, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and conducting construction site observations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering and designing hospitality, educational, and commercial structures.
• Proficiency in steel, concrete, and masonry design codes, with basic wood design knowledge.
• Experience in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete buildings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in the design of post-tensioned concrete structures and other multi-story building types.
• Familiarity with RAM Structural System and Revit.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Prior experience with hotel projects.

Type of Job:

• 6 Months Temp to perm

Hourly Range:

• $32/hr. - $40/hr.

Shift and Hours:

• Monday- Friday
• 8 AM- 5 PM
