About the Job
We are looking for an EIT-certified Engineer to develop designs, plans, specifications and cost estimates for small and mid-sized Structural projects. The position may supervise or serve as lead over a small group of employees.
Job Title: Engineer II or Engineer III
Location: Santa Ana, CA (100% Onsite)
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Support project delivery to the satisfaction of the clients
- Perform projects strategically and aggressively so that projects and tasks are successfully completed in a logical and timely manner
- Perform a variety of engineering tasks as required by management and the clients
- Prepare accurate and quality work products
- Take ownership of projects
- Provide excellent client service by constantly demonstrating responsiveness and service orientation to the client’s needs
- Always communicate effectively with clients, staff, project team members, and public agencies on all issues
- Work oriented towards results
- Take steps in professional development, progressing towards getting professionally licensed
- Know or can quickly learn how to model projects in 3D
Requirements
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree, Civil Engineering preferred
- Civil/Structural Engineering – 2 to 4 years for Engineer II; at least of Engineering design for Engineer III
- License/Certification – Engineer-In-Training (EIT)
- Computer Proficiency – MS Office, CADD/AutoCAD Civil 3D, Structural Analysis (for Engineer III)
- Communication – Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills
