Responsibilities
- Conduct design and structural analysis for new and existing telecommunications sites, including collocations on towers, water tanks, rooftops, and raw land sites
- Use software tools like RISA, TnxTower, OCALC, and ENERCAL for tower and rooftop analysis and to refine designs to meet local regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate project planning and execution
- Perform occasional site visits to document and assess field conditions for projects
Requirements
- Education: BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering (EIT Certificate preferred)
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant structural or telecom experience
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge of RISA, TnxTower, OCALC, ENERCAL, and AutoCAD; skilled in Microsoft Office
- Codes & Standards: Familiarity with ASD, LRFD, TIA-F, and TIA-G codes
Additional Details
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (~ $38.46/hr | $80k annually), with flexibility to work outside standard hours (e.g., nights or weekends) if deadlines are met
- Career Opportunity: Long-term contract (6+ months, W2) with potential for full-time hire
- Work Environment: 100% remote
- Location: U.S.-based, EST hours preferred
