Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a **Structural Engineering Intern II** to be based in **New York, NY** . _This position is expected to begin_ _this winter._ **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning, design, and modification phase of projects. + Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained int eh academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. + Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field with the intent to continue after the internship unless graduating. + Candidates must have completed two years of study in their program. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in **New York** . The selected candidate must be available to work in **New York** on a scheduled basis. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
