Qualifications and Skills
- 5 - 8 Years of experience in a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in structural inspection, preferably in large-scale industrial or aerospace projects.
- Familiarity with the installation and inspection of structural steel components.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interactions.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and heights. Knowledge of relevant construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of structural steel installation to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and construction teams to provide technical guidance and support on structural matters.
- Identify, document, and report any discrepancies, defects, or non-conformance issues to the project management team.
- Review and interpret blueprints, structural designs, and construction plans.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and ensure continuous improvement in construction practices.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and prepare reports for project stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices in structural engineering and construction.
