Savard is hiring Structural Fitters for work in Mobile, AL for Job # 20352
Job Scope/Duties:
Structural Fitters fabricate and construct structural metal items in Fabrication shops, and construction.
Use torches and tools to cut and shape metal pieces.
Measure all metal pieces to ensure they conform to needed specifications, often grinding and shaving metal to ensure it meets specific measurements.
Install and align metal parts by hand and by using various tools.
Lift metal pieces into place using hoists and cranes.
Weld metal pieces together using proper tools and safety equipment.
Work Experience:
Must have 3 years experience as a structural fitter
Physical Requirements:
lift up to 50 pounds
Shifts/Hours: Monday -Friday 0700 -4: 00 PM
40 HOURS A week
Pay:
23.00 - 28.50 DOE
Up to $1, 140 w 40 hours
